The Osteo Relief Institute: Understanding and Managing osteoarthritis

Arthritis is a common condition but not well understood by many people. Arthritis is not a term standing for a single disease but a joint disease in general terms. Arthritis exists in more than 100 types where more than 50 million adults in the United States suffer from some forms of it. The disease is common in women, and many people suffer from it as they age. Arthritis is known to be the leading cause of disability in the United States of America. The type of arthritis that is most common is osteoarthritis which is also referred to as a degenerative joint disease. Osteoarthritis is characterized by cartilage degeneration which is the soft tissue that is located between the joints. The risk factors of this form of arthritis include age, family history, excess weight and previous injury. In understanding and managing Osteoarthritis the disease cannot be cured, and since it is degenerative, it is important for a patient to practice self-management and commitment to minimize the impact of the disease.

Why Johnnie Walker Contracted With Alexandre Gama

Johnnie Walker wanted to capture the culture of Rio de Janeiro in their upcoming whiskey advertisement. It was only natural that they would select the Rio native marketing executive Alexandre Gama.

Alexandre, who is the CEO of Neogama, had created the award-winning film that combined CGI with real footage of Rio de Janeiro. The giant rock golem had emerged from the rocks from the beach to wander its way through the skyline of the city. This is what gave the title to the advertisement “Rock Giant”.

Looking back on Alex’s early career, he started out as a lowly copywriter and worked his way up through several companies. After he was considered to be one of the best copywriters in the country, he decided to start his own marketing firm. Since his company merged with BBH, his company created some of the most well-known advertising and film pieces in the world. He is even a frequent winner at the Cannes Festival.

The Way Adam Milstein Does It: The Businessman’s Interview With Ideamensch

Adam Milstein is a remarkable man who is doing work for the Jewish American community both in business and civics. He is primarily a real estate broker who obtains financing and manages properties for the company he cofounded, Hager Pacific Properties.

But he’s also the leader of several pro-Israel foundations including the Israeli-American Council, Hasbara Fellowships, StandWithUs, Israel on Campus Coalition, Jerusalem U, Birthright Israel and AIPAC. His work has consisted of bringing together Jewish community and religious leaders in support of common causes, and working with US government and non-profit groups to build a strong US and Israel partnership. He was awarded the 39th place in the Jerusalem Post’s Top 50 Most Influential Jews of 2016 column.

Adam Milstein took some time to talk about his work with Ideamensch, a website that asks businessmen how they started their companies and what their workdays look like. Milstein got the idea for Hager Pacific Properties over 30 years ago when finishing graduate school. He felt commercial real estate brokering and investing while tricky was more rewarding than other jobs he saw at the time. Milstein’s credits some of his success to going about his work alone and not waiting for anyone else to take the initiative. He says perhaps his one regret wasn’t being patient back when he ran another business in art sales, but he learned from that about patience in investing and how staying patient in real estate is also key to making money. His favorite book is Dana Perino’s And The Good News Is….

Adam Milstein has worked in building framing and also served in Israel’s armed forces, a part of his life that followed in his father’s footsteps. He’s the oldest of three sons and his parents both had moved to Israel shortly after the modern state was founded in 1948. He completed his bachelor’s degree in business at Israel’s Technion institute and later his master’s at the University of Southern California. He married Gila Elgrably in 1974 and raised three daughters. In the later years he and Gila started a family foundation and in addition to their active philanthropy they’ve promoted ancient Hebrew to families through Sifriyat Pijama B’America.

Karl Heideck is a Philadelphia-Based Litigator

A litigator is a person who represents defendants in the civil cases. It is a litigator’s duty to manage the entire process of litigation. It includes investigation, discovery, trial, appeal, pleadings, pre-trial, and settlement. The work of a litigator varies depending on whether he works at a firm or he is an independent practitioner. Litigators of a large firm have different duties. In the beginning, they are mostly writing memos and doing research. Most of the time, they are observing the court while being seated in the gallery. Sometimes, they are told to argue when there is a proceeding in a small court which is an excellent opportunity to increase experience. To become a litigator, one has to earn a bachelor’s degree unless he has done pre-law. Pre-law students are taught subjects like criminal justice, political science, English, and History. The next thing to do is to take LSAT Test and apply for admission in a law school. It takes at least three years to complete the coursework at a law school. The subjects taught include torts, property law, constitutional law, civil procedure, and specialized subjects of law. An internship is an important requirement for completing the law degree. After that, one has to acquire the license to practice law and get started.

Karl Heideck is an attorney that specializes in litigation, risk management, and compliance. He is based in Jenkintown, Philadelphia. He went to Swarthmore College in 1999 to earn a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Language. From 2006 to 2009, Karl Heideck attended the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University. He began his professional career from Conrad O’Brien in 2010 as an Associate. Some of his duties included representing individual and corporate clients in commercial and complex litigation. For that, he had to write several memoranda after thorough analysis. He was involved in drafting and filing of several proceedings and negotiated several settlements.

On October 2010, Karl Heideck joined Pepper Hamilton LLP as Project Attorney. His duties included fact investigation by reviewing materials, pharmaceutical litigation, trial preparation, government investigation, and restructuring of bankruptcy. He was also responsible for reviewing documents of complex nature. Karl Heideck joined Grant & Eisenhofer as Contract Attorney in April 2015, and he is still working there. He is involved in banking litigation and discovering materials for securities fraud. He deals with issues like liquidity, risk management, acquisitions, and transactions. Every week, he participates in conferences for improving the review protocol.

Fabletics Translates Success to New Sales Outlet

Fabletics is a wildly successful company that has been able to keep growing through the different opportunities that they have had. The way that the company has performed is different from many other companies and the people who are a part of it have seen the growth happen very quickly. Kate Hudson, one of the most recognized faces of the company, has been helping to design the styles since the company first started and she wanted to make sure that she would be able to continue doing it no matter what was happening with the company.

The thing that makes Fabletics so unique is the fact that people get a personalized shopping area. After they go to the site and take the style quiz, they are given a list of things that they can buy that will fit in with their style quiz. This is the reverse showroom and helps women to have a clearer idea of what they would like. Most of the time, people who shop with Fabletics are able to find something that was chosen by a personal stylist who made the choices based on the style quiz. It was something that made a difference in the way that things were done with the company.

Since Fabletics has gained so much popularity, they have decided to start selling on other avenues. Amazon is the first site where they are going. When they make their debut on Amazon, they won’t have to worry about competing with other people and they won’t have to try new things to make the right choices. It is something that the company is going to set up and something that they hope is going to help them reach more customers. When Fabletics is on Amazon, they will also be able to allow shorter shipping times to their clients.

Along with this new online buying option, Fabletics also has retail stores. While they plan to keep most of their sales on the Internet, the company hopes that having a retail store will help them to reach even more customers. The idea behind a retail company will also make it easier for the people to be able to get what they need out of the shopping experience. Those who are visiting malls can simply stop in the Fabletics store and get all of the clothes that they want. They can also try them on at these stores.

Black Friday week is still going strong! Shop the sale in stores and online. (Link in bio)

Living The Sweetgreen Life With Nathaniel Ru

Nathaniel Ru is the co-founder of Sweetgreen, the most forward-thinking business model in fresh and healthy fast food. As a college student at Georgetown University he and classmates Jonathan Neman and Nicolas Jammet filled a void for healthy eating in the popular college town by opening their first restaurant in 2007 (http://www.forbes.com/pictures/ekeg45fe/nicolas-jammet-nathaniel-ru-jonathan-neman-co-founders-sweetgreen-262627/). The restaurant surpassed their expectations by gaining customers during winter break when the campus turns into a ghost town. Now with forty locations across the United States Sweetgreen is changing the way that customers think about fast food by offering local, organic and beautifully imaginative real food. The restaurant is so popular there are often long lines of hungry patrons.

But it’s not just the concept of eating healthy that has grabbed the public’s attention. Nathaniel Ru and his partners have married the concept of food and technology in a way that surpasses other fast food chains. Customers love the idea of ordering via their laptop or mobile phone with thirty percent of orders being placed through the Sweetgreen website (http://observer.com/2016/04/jobs-report-sweetgreen-co-founder-jonathan-neman-lives-the-sweet-life/). Frequent visitors can download the Sweetgreen app which tracks how much is spent. Once the customer has spent $100 part of the purchase price is donated to Sweetgreen in School which teaches children the benefits of a healthy diet.

Nathaniel Ru doesn’t follow the usual business models when it comes to management style. Sweetgreen doesn’t house a large corporate headquarters. Instead they have offices on each side of the United States. Employees who work in the corporate locations spend time working in the restaurants so that they are in tune with all aspects of the company. To accomplish this massive job shift the offices close five times during the year. Learn more: https://twitter.com/nathanielru

Not only is Nathaniel Ru the energetic co-founder of Sweetgreen he is also a principal at SWTLF Ventures. He graduated from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown in 2007 with a degree in finance. Nathaniel Ru created Sweetgreen with his partners to create relationships with diners and farmers in an environment that is welcoming, creative and affordable. He believes in supporting the communities and fostering local partnerships. Nathaniel Ru’s desire to promote change is exemplified through the restaurant’s nutritional education program and the Sweetlife music festival connecting music, food and people. At the time the business was known as Otto and Sons. They began a relationship with Ray Kroc. Ray Kroc was the CEO of McDonald’s. McDonald’s was paving the way for the fast food industry.
